Join us as we share our summer harvest of interdisciplinary, activist, urban upgrading design and research projects with slideshows and short screenings. And help us give thanks to our organizational partners and friends who helped make the first CITY AS LAB program possible!

In the same building as Little Toykyo and on the same side as Chez Sophie.

We will have lots of multi-media to share!
And we’ll have some drinks and snacks, but as a participatory research program, we ask you help us celebrate by bringing a bottle or some cheese as we toast to future collaborations!

While out exploring one night I stumbled upon this flyer…

…and despite the fact that I do not yet have a bicycle, I decided to check out the scene. The ride was organized by Critical Mass Beirut, El Mina by Bike, and a few other partners in bicycle advocacy.

It seems it was a success, and although the crowd wasn’t huge, the diversity was impressive. Here are some photos.

Hopefully I will be able to ride next time.
