Gotham Greens is delighted to announce that it has commenced construction of its first commercial-scale greenhouse facility in Brooklyn, NY. The 15,000ft2 facility, powered by renewable energy, is scheduled to open in May 2011. The facility will annually produce over 80 tons of premium quality, pesticide-free vegetables and culinary herbs for the local retail and restaurant market.

Sunday at Windfall Farms
Sunday I went up to Windfall Farms, Montgomery, NY, and celebrated SPRING! Food from the farm(s), a bonfire and the NYC skyline in light bulbs.
